HOW IT WORX
Start by sending us an email from your Outlook, Outlook Express, LiveMail (or other email software).
Once you register, we will provide you the email address.
We will email back a "preview" to your email address. The "preview" is identical
to the email your email list will receive.
We will also send you an email with instructions on how to send to your email list.
The email will also include costs and links to complete the bulk email you want
to send. If you do not want to proceed at this point, ignore the instructions email.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Does each recipient receive an individual email?
Yes, the TO: field will contain only one single email address.
Can we include hyperlinks in the emails?
Yes, absolutely. We recommend it -- it adds value to your message and can
link directly to your website and specials you may be featuring.
Can we include attachments?
Yes, with exceptions. Attachment types by extension (not case sensitive):
GIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, DOC, PDF, RTF, and XLS. We do not allow
CSV types of attachments since these are used by the WorxMailer
system for uploading your mailing lists.
Are there any restrictions?
- Your must use a legitimate email address that matches your Paypal email address (excepttion for known existing clients)
- Emails with pornography, targetted to children (under 16), or foster/discuss intolerance of race, religion, gender or are sexual in nature ARE NOT ALLOWED
Are there any options?
- We can design your emails for you. Our graphic design team are experts at creating
stunning graphics that are action oriented.
- At your option, we can include a web version of your email for viewing
through a browser. If you choose this option, we will add a line at the TOP
of your email with a link to the web version.
CSV QUESTIONS
What happens to our CSV files after upload?
Once your CSV files are processed, they are deleted. An archival copy is kept for
audit purposes only. The archival copy is not accessible publicly.
Do you do anything with our CSV files and contact records?
Absolutely not. At no point do we claim any ownership of your CSV files or contact
records. We do not share, barter or sell your information to anyone. The CSV files
you upload to our servers are not even viewed or accessed unless you request us
to intervene manually in the case of errors.
How do you handle Reynolds ERA CSV files?
ERA CSV records typically have fields that are truncated and wrapped to the next line.
The instructions email we send you will address and indicate how to enable our
ERA filter. Essentially you let us know that the CSV is generated by ERA and our
filters will reformat the CSV file so that there are no wrap lines and no lost data.
Do you keep any electronic copies of our CSV files or contact records?
Only if you are an existing client and you have specifically signed up
for WorxMailer.com to manage your mailing lists.
EMAIL DESIGN
Design Considerations
- Supports attachments (extra cost: 1.1¢ per 1 Mb)
- Conservative recommended maximum width is 600 pixels. While there is no spatial relationship between paper and computer monitors, 600 pixels is approximately 8.3 inches wide (at 72dpi).
- Recommended maximum width is 750 pixels. That is approximately 10.4 inches wide (at 72dpi).
- As you design graphics, please keep in mind that the average computer monitor is 72dpi. Highest possible is 96dpi.
- We will not restrict emails on size ... the width and height is entirely up to you. You should keep in mind that studies show customers are not inclined to scroll horizontally (width).
RATES & REPORTS
What are your rates?
We charge 4.4¢ ($0.044) for each email sent regardless of number of email addresses.
We only charge for emails sent, there are no charges for records with invalid
or missing email addresses (since nothing gets sent). You can also send attachments
(extra cost: 2.2¢ per 1 Mb).
Do you have lower rates for large volumes?
No. The charge remains the same regardless of volumes.
Do I get any kind of reports?
Yes, we will provide an email report indicating the start time of the email campaign,
the total number of invalid email addresses, number of email addresses your message
was sent to, and total number of records. There is no charge for the email report.
